Its three-piece body measures 5.5 inches and weighs 2 ounces, with size #3 hooks and a large TB tail made from stretchy TPE plastic.

Work it high on the surface for a waking presentation, or speed up the retrieve to make it crank down. On a fast retrieve, it can reach about 2 feet below the surface; actual running depth varies with your setup and retrieve.

Product Details

Brand: Throwback Baits.

Model: WakeWalker LT.

Pattern: Rose Gill.

Length: 5.5 inches.

Lure weight: 2 ounces.

Hook size: #3.

Bait type: Wake bait / swimbait.

Body: Three-piece ABS construction.

Tail: Large TB tail in TPE plastic.

How to Fish It

Use a rod rated to cast a 2 oz lure and line and terminal tackle suited to the setup. Make controlled casts with a clear path behind and beside you. Test the lure close to the bank or boat to learn the speed that keeps it waking on the surface.

Start with a steady retrieve that leaves a visible wake. Pause briefly beside cover edges or change speed along an open retrieve path. To fish below the surface, increase your reel speed and watch how the bait responds before committing to a longer cast.

When a fish strikes, wait until you feel its weight, then reel down and make a controlled hookset rather than reacting only to the splash. Inspect the knot, line, hooks, joints, and tail after each fish or contact with cover.

Care and Storage

Store separately from other soft plastic lures. The TPE tail may react when in contact with other soft plastics. Keep the tail from being bent or compressed during storage. After saltwater exposure, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly before putting the lure away. Secure hooks during transport and check that replacement hooks or hardware do not interfere with the joints or change the lure's movement.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0833/5320/7003/files/RoseGill_LT_88481ef4-0841-4fc0-a9c0-398ce9a5d873.png?v=1793145126
