Setup and Fishing Guidance
Pair the rod with a spinning reel that balances comfortably at the handle and holds enough suitable line for your location. Secure the reel with both locking rings, choose line within the selected model's rating, and set drag for the weakest component in the setup.
For bait rigs, include the sinker, bait, and terminal tackle when checking the total casting weight against the selected model's range. Use a smooth casting motion rather than a sudden snap. Expose the rod to sunlight before a night session to charge the glow finish.
When fishing circle hooks, let the line tighten and reel steadily as the rod loads instead of making a sharp hookset. Maintain a controlled rod angle during the fight and use a landing net rather than lifting fish by the rod.
Care
Wipe down the blank and EVA handle after use and inspect the guides for damage that could fray line. After saltwater exposure, rinse gently with fresh water and dry before storage. Protect the tip during transport and keep the blank clear of doors and heavy gear.
