Hendrix Fishing Company Predator Creature Bait 4.25-Inch 6-Pack

A Streamlined Creature Bait for Cover Fishing

The Hendrix Fishing Company Predator is a 4.25-inch soft-plastic creature bait with a bullet-like profile for Texas rigging and flipping around thick vegetation. Its streamlined shape gives you a practical starting point for presenting a bait in tight cover.

Use it on a Texas rig, try it behind a Carolina rig, or pair it with a jig as a trailer. The Predator also offers options for Tokyo rigs, Ned rigs, and drop-shot presentations when matched with suitable terminal tackle. Each pack contains six baits made in the USA.

How to Fish It

For flipping or Texas rigging, thread the Predator straight onto a suitable hook and keep the point protected when working vegetation. Choose enough weight to reach the depth or penetrate the cover you are fishing, then let the bait fall beside the target. Pause before adding short lifts or subtle shakes.

On a Carolina rig, move it with slow pulls and pauses along the bottom. As a jig trailer, align the body straight on the hook so it follows the jig cleanly. For Tokyo, Ned, or drop-shot setups, match the hook and weight to the full 4.25-inch bait and the presentation you want. Watch the line on the fall, take up slack on a pickup, and set the hook according to your rig.
