How to Fish It
Start with a weightless presentation and let the worm fall on controlled slack so its body can fold and quiver. Watch the line for movement during the pause, then use a small lift or twitch before letting it settle again. Rig the body straight to avoid unwanted spinning.
For a Texas rig, protect the hook point when fishing cover and choose enough weight to reach your target depth. On a Carolina rig, use slow pulls and pauses; on a drop shot or shaky head, begin with small shakes rather than large rod movements. Take up slack when a fish picks up the bait and set the hook according to your rig. Check the worm's position and condition after each fish.
