Carolina Rig Tackle and Baits in One Kit
The MONSTERBASS 52-Piece Carolina Rig Kit brings together rigging tackle, Daiichi EWG hooks, and a selection of soft baits for working points, ledges, and bottom structure. A MONSTERBASS 3700 box keeps the tackle organized between trips.
Try different worm, craw, and creature profiles behind the same basic rig, matching the hook to each bait. The included Carolina Rig Tungsten Pro Pack supplies tungsten weights, beads, and swivels for the presentation.

How to Fish It
Build the Carolina rig with a sliding weight and bead on the main line above a swivel, then attach a leader and a hook matched to your chosen soft bait. Use line and knots suited to the tackle and conditions. Thread the bait straight and protect the hook point when fishing cover.
Cast across a point or along a ledge, let the weight reach bottom, and move it with slow rod sweeps followed by pauses. Reel up slack between sweeps rather than continuously pulling the rig with the reel. Adjust weight and leader length to the depth, current, cover, and bait you're using; not every bait will ride above bottom in the same way.
Watch for line movement or a change in pressure. Take up slack and use a controlled sweeping hookset when you feel a fish. Inspect the leader and knots after contact with rough cover. Store soft baits according to their manufacturers' instructions rather than mixing different plastic materials loose in the box.
