How to Fish It
Rig the worm straight on a suitable shaky head, securing the nose to the keeper and positioning the hook point for the cover you're fishing. Choose a head weight that lets you reach the bottom and maintain contact without dragging more weight than needed.
Cast beside structure or along a grass edge, let the rig settle, then use light shakes with pauses between movements. Try a slow drag to reposition the bait before shaking it again. Upright posture depends on the head, rigging, and bottom conditions, so check the setup beside the boat or bank rather than assuming it will always stand. Watch for line movement or unexpected pressure, reel into contact, and set the hook according to your rig.
