Berkley Gulp! Maggots
Berkley Gulp! Maggots offer a compact, scented imitation of maggots and small larvae for freshwater fishing. Fish them on a small hook or use them to tip an ice jig when targeting trout, crappie, perch, and other panfish.
Available in White, Chartreuse, and Pink, these small-profile baits let you change color without switching away from a finesse presentation. Berkley's Gulp! attractant formula adds scent to the bait.

How to Fish It
Thread a bait onto a suitably sized hook or jig, leaving the hook point exposed. Keep the presentation compact rather than crowding the hook with more bait than it can hold cleanly.
Under a float, set the depth to place the bait near where fish are feeding and begin with a still presentation or gentle drift. With a split-shot rig, use enough weight to control the drift without constantly dragging the bait along bottom.
For ice-jig presentations, start with small lifts and pauses, then hold the jig still to see whether fish prefer less movement. Watch the line or float for subtle changes and replace the bait when it becomes damaged or no longer sits securely on the hook.
Storage and Care
Keep unused baits in their original container, close it securely after use, and follow the package's storage directions. Protect the bait from drying out and keep it separate from other soft-bait materials unless compatibility is confirmed.
