Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Swimming Mullet 6" Pink Shine

Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Swimming Mullet 6-Inch Pink Shine

The Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Swimming Mullet pairs a realistic head and body design with a high-action swimming tail. This 6-inch Pink Shine version gives you a scented soft-bait option for saltwater presentations without carrying live bait.

Berkley's Gulp! scent dispersion complements the bait's movement. Rig it straight on a suitably sized hook or jighead, then adjust your retrieve to the depth and current you are fishing.

How to Fish It

Choose a hook or jighead that fits the body while leaving the tail free to move. Rig the bait straight and keep the hook point clear. Count the soft bait and all added weight toward your rod's lure rating.

Start with a short test retrieve to check that the bait tracks cleanly. Try a steady swim along a shoreline edge or a controlled lift-and-fall presentation near bottom. Use enough weight to manage the current and depth without repeatedly burying the rig in obstructions.

Mix in pauses or small changes in speed, keeping useful line contact as the bait falls. Check for a shifted body, tangled tail, or debris if the presentation becomes uneven. Inspect the line and hook after contact with cover or a fish.

Storage and Care

Keep unused baits in their original packaging and follow the package's storage directions. Protect them from drying out and store separately from other soft-bait materials unless compatibility is confirmed. Rinse and dry used terminal tackle after saltwater fishing.
