Berkley Gulp! Yellow Corn Scented Fishing Bait

Berkley Gulp! Yellow Corn

Berkley Gulp! Yellow Corn is a soft, scented corn-kernel imitation for freshwater fishing. Its kernel-shaped profile offers an alternative to natural corn when targeting trout, carp, bluegill, and other panfish.

Rig it on a small hook for a still presentation, a gentle drift, or a bottom rig. Berkley's Gulp! attractant adds scent without the need to carry natural corn.

How to Fish It

Place a kernel on a suitably sized hook, securing the bait without blocking the hook point or filling the hook gap. Check that it holds securely before casting.

Under a float, set the depth to place the bait where fish are feeding and start with a still presentation or gentle drift. Use light split shot as needed to manage depth and current without overwhelming the small bait.

For bottom fishing, cast to your chosen spot, allow the rig to settle, and watch for changes in line tension. Recover slack before setting the hook with pressure suited to your line and hook. Inspect the bait after a bite and replace it if it tears or no longer stays in place.

Storage and Care

Keep unused bait in its original container and close it securely after use. Follow the package's storage directions and protect the bait from drying out. Keep it separate from other soft-bait materials unless compatibility is confirmed.
