The Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Swimon is a soft-plastic trailer designed to complement a bladed jig’s movement. Its body and twin appendages add swimming action without a conventional paddle tail, giving you another way to shape the profile behind your jig.

Choose the 3.75-inch size in a seven-pack or the 4.25-inch size in a six-pack. Match the trailer to your hook and keeper so the body stays straight and the appendages have room to move.

How to Fish It

Thread the Swimon straight onto a compatible bladed-jig hook and keeper. Keep the hook gap clear and avoid bunching the body at the head. Make a short test retrieve to check that the appendages move freely and the trailer does not interfere with the blade.

Start with a steady retrieve along open cover edges or above the bottom. Adjust speed, jig weight, and countdown to explore different depths. Add a short pause or acceleration, then return to a controlled swim.

On a swim jig or spinnerbait, check the same alignment before casting farther. For a craw-style flipping approach, use a suitable hook and weight, pitch beside cover, and work short lifts and pauses. Watch the line during the fall and inspect the bait after contact with cover.

Care and Storage

Check the nose and appendages for tears after each fish. Re-rig or replace trailers that slide on the keeper or no longer sit straight. Store in the original packaging, avoid prolonged heat, and keep separate from incompatible soft-plastic materials.
