The Big Bite Baits Suicide Buzz pairs a buzzing topwater frame with a realistic, hand-painted Suicide Shad swimbait. This 3/8 oz model comes rigged with a 5-inch Suicide Shad and includes one spare bait, so you have a replacement when the first trailer needs changing.

A double wire keeper holds the trailer on the frame, while the hand-painted head matches the swimbait. The squeaky blade can be adjusted to contact the head for additional sound.

How to Fish It

Check that the swimbait sits straight, the hook gap is clear, and the blade turns freely. Begin reeling promptly after the lure lands, then use a steady pace that keeps the blade working at the surface. Make a short test retrieve before casting farther.

Work along banks, vegetation edges, and open lanes beside cover. Change your retrieve speed between casts while keeping the lure on the surface. Keep the exposed hook out of thick vegetation or tight branches, and clear debris when it interrupts the blade.

If you adjust the blade for head contact, make small changes and retest its rotation. When a fish strikes, keep reeling until you feel its weight before setting the hook rather than reacting only to the splash.

Replace a torn or loose trailer with the included spare. Seat the nose securely on the double wire keeper and check its alignment before the next cast.

Care and Storage

Inspect the blade, frame, hook, and trailer after fish or hard contact. Remove debris and let the lure dry before storage. Keep the swimbait straight, away from prolonged heat, and separate from incompatible soft-plastic materials.
