Depth Reference
Manufacturer testing with 10 lb monofilament reaches approximately 25 feet with 100 feet of line out, or 33 feet with 200 feet of line out. Use these figures as reference points rather than guaranteed running depths; line characteristics, speed, and conditions affect the presentation.

How to Fish It
Check that the lure tracks properly beside the boat before letting out a longer lead. Release line under control, keep track of the amount deployed, and start with a repeatable trolling speed so you can compare passes.
Use the depth references to plan a presentation near the fish without driving the lure constantly into bottom or structure. Make one adjustment at a time to lead length, speed, or route, and record the settings that produce the position you want.
Watch the rod tip for changes that can indicate debris or fouled hooks. Retrieve and check the lure when its action changes, and keep adequate spacing between lines to reduce tangles during turns.
Care and Storage
Inspect the diving lip, hook points, and hook connections after fish or contact with hard structure. Remove debris, let the lure dry before storage, and use hook covers or separate tackle compartments to contain the exposed trebles.
