Buckeye Spot Remover Pro jigheads pair a stand-up head with a spring-style bait keeper for bottom-oriented shaky-head fishing. The head helps position a finesse worm upright, while the keeper secures the soft plastic through repeated casts.

A heavy-duty black-nickel hook rounds out the design for working worms around docks, points, and bottom structure. Choose from five weights to match the depth and conditions. Each pack contains five jigheads.

How to Fish It

Center a compatible finesse worm on the spring keeper and turn the nose on carefully. Align the body with the hook so it hangs straight, leaving enough gap for the plastic to move clear during the hookset. Lightly tuck the point when appropriate for cover; this reduces exposure but does not eliminate snags.

Start with the lightest head that lets you follow bottom contact. Cast beside a dock, along a point, or near an open edge of bottom structure and let the jig settle. Use small rod-tip shakes and pauses rather than constantly hopping it away from the spot.

After working one area, drag the head a short distance and repeat. The bait’s posture will depend on its shape, material, and the bottom surface. Watch for sideways line movement or unexpected slack, reel into contact, and set the hook with controlled pressure.

Care and Storage

Remove torn plastic from the spring keeper and inspect the hook point after fish, snags, or contact with hard structure. Replace baits that no longer stay secure or straight. Let jigheads dry before storage and secure exposed hook points in your tackle box.
