How to Fish It

Confirm reel-seat compatibility before choosing a reel, given the catalog wording discrepancy noted below. Once confirmed, mount a compatible spinning reel securely and choose line within the selected rod's listed range. Account for the combined sinker, bait, and hardware weight when matching the presentation to the lure rating.

For stationary catfish bait presentations, use a suitable rod holder and maintain enough line contact to observe tip movement. With circle hooks, allow steady pressure to load the rod rather than making a sharp hookset. Adapt your technique to other hook styles.

Expose the glow finish to daylight before evening fishing as described by the supplier, and carry separate lighting for rigging and footing. Fight fish with controlled pressure, avoid extreme rod angles, and never lift fish by the rod. Rinse after saltwater use and follow manufacturer care instructions.
