How to Fish It

Cast beyond a pad opening, grass edge, or pocket in cover. Move the frog across vegetation with controlled pulls, then use a short, sharper twitch in open water to make the cupped mouth pop and spit. Let it rest between pops so you can vary the amount of noise without rushing it out of the strike zone.

Try slow chugs with longer pauses first, then increase the pace if fish respond to a more active presentation. After a strike, wait until you feel the fish's weight before making a firm hookset.
