How to Fish It

Cast beyond a pad opening or vegetation edge and bring the frog across the cover with short pulls. When it reaches open water, pause before adding a few short twitches to make the deep lip spit water. For a walking retrieve, leave a little slack after each twitch and adjust your rhythm until the frog moves side to side.

Spend extra time beside holes in the cover rather than using the same pace throughout the cast.
