Creek Life Lure Co. Barbless Tungsten Bead Jig Heads offer a compact weighted presentation for small soft plastics and creek baits. Choose a 1/32 oz or 1/64 oz head with a size #8, #10, or #12 barbless hook to suit your bait and the water you are fishing.
Each pack contains three jig heads in your selected weight, hook size, and finish. The barbless design simplifies hook removal, while the tungsten-alloy bead provides weight for controlled drifts, small hops, and swimming retrieves.

Choosing and Rigging
Match the hook size to the bait's length and thickness, leaving sufficient gap and a clear point. Thread soft plastics straight so they track cleanly. Start with the lighter head in shallow, slower water and increase weight when depth or current calls for more control.
Choose tackle rated for the complete jig-and-bait weight. A weighted head may pull a floating plastic below the surface, so check the assembled rig beside you before casting.
How to Fish It
For a drift, cast upstream or across a current seam and recover excess slack as the jig travels. Use enough line contact to notice a take without dragging the bait out of its path.
For bottom work, allow the jig to settle and use short lifts with controlled falls. Keep movements small around rock and wood to reduce the chance of wedging the exposed hook into cover.
For a swimming retrieve, begin slowly and adjust speed to keep the bait at the intended depth. Maintain steady pressure during the fight when using a barbless hook, then handle the fish carefully during unhooking.
Care and Storage
Inspect the hook point and eye after fish or hard contact. Replace bent or damaged hooks, let tackle dry before storage, and keep sharp points secured in a tackle compartment.
