How to Fish It

Pair with a moderate-fast jigging rod in the 150–300g jig rating range. The 6.3:1 gear ratio gives you the speed for high-speed vertical jigging while the ATD drag and monocoque frame handle the sustained pressure of amberjack and tuna on 40–65lb braid. The spool lock is ideal for freespool drops to target depth before engaging — critical for precision jigging on deep structure. Load with 40–50lb braid for the best balance of capacity and strength for offshore jigging applications.
