Favorite Fishing Defender Soleus Casting Combo Bundle

Defender Rod, Soleus Reel, and Matching Extras

The Favorite Fishing Defender Soleus Casting Combo Bundle brings together a DDFRC-751MH casting rod and your choice of a left- or right-hand Soleus Defender casting reel. A Defender visor and Soleus Defender decal complete the bundle.

Choose the retrieve side you prefer before ordering: the left-hand option includes the SLSDFR7L reel, while the right-hand option includes the SLSDFR7R. Both options include the same rod, visor, and decal.

What's Included

• Defender casting rod: DDFRC-751MH
• Soleus Defender casting reel: SLSDFR7L for left-hand retrieve or SLSDFR7R for right-hand retrieve
• Defender visor: VSR-DEF
• Soleus Defender decal

Setting Up Your Combo

Secure the reel in the rod's reel seat and thread your line through every guide. Match your line and total presentation weight to the ratings marked on the rod, and set the reel's drag to suit your line.

Before your first cast, adjust the reel's casting controls according to its instructions. Start with short practice casts and use your thumb to control the spool as the presentation lands. Recheck your settings when changing lure weight or casting conditions.
