Fine-Tune Your Jig's Presentation at the Knot

The Macula Tackle Dream Jig Series features an Easy Tie Eyelet and an adjustable presentation: reposition your knot to change how the bait hangs, horizontally or vertically. It gives you a practical way to experiment with bait orientation without changing jigs.

Choose from three standard Dream Jig sizes and a lighter Size 6 Lite option. Match hook size to your bait, then select a weight for the depth and fall rate you want. Each pack contains two jigs.

Size and Weight Options

  • Dream Jig Size 10: 1/48 oz, the smallest hook and lightest weight offered in this listing.
  • Dream Jig Size 8: 1/32 oz.
  • Dream Jig Size 6: 1/16 oz, for a larger hook and more weight.
  • Dream Jig Lite Size 6: 1/32 oz, pairing the Size 6 hook with a lighter weight than the standard Size 6.

How to Fish It

Pair the jig with a small bait that suits the selected hook size, leaving the hook point clear. Tie to the Easy Tie Eyelet, position the knot, and suspend the rig beside the boat or bank to check how it hangs. Adjust the knot to try a horizontal or vertical presentation, then recheck it after a fish.

Begin with subtle lifts, short shakes, and pauses. Choose the 1/48 oz option when a very light presentation fits the conditions, or increase weight when you need more depth control. The Size 6 Lite lets you retain the larger hook at 1/32 oz. Watch for small line movements during the fall and pauses, and use a controlled hookset matched to your tackle.
