Setup and Use
Charge the AP3 aerator according to its instructions before your trip. Check the tubing connections and confirm that the system is producing bubbles before adding bait. Keep the pump and charging connections protected from water as directed in the manual.
Use water appropriate for the bait species and avoid overcrowding. Keep the cooler shaded when possible and monitor water temperature and bait condition throughout the day. Aeration does not replace suitable water quality, temperature management, or water changes when needed.
Secure the cooler for transport and leave room to access the lid and aerator. Check the charge and airflow periodically rather than relying on an assumed runtime.
Care and Storage
Empty the cooler after use, rinse the interior, and allow it to dry with the lid open. Clean the aeration components according to Engel’s instructions and keep electrical parts out of the rinse water. Rinse and dry the hardware after saltwater exposure. Follow the AP3 battery-care instructions for charging and longer-term storage.
