Floatzilla FireTail soft bait floats add buoyancy to soft-plastic lures through a screw-in attachment. Use one to help lift a bait or hold its tail above the bottom when working a finesse presentation.
Choose Small for lighter drop-shot presentations or Large for heavier shaky-head and Ned-rig baits. The amount of lift depends on your bait and rig, so test the complete setup in the water before fishing it.

How to Use It
Select a soft-plastic bait with enough material to hold the screw-in connection securely. Turn the attachment into the section you want to lift, keeping it aligned and taking care not to split thin plastic. Leave the hook gap clear and check that the attachment does not interfere with rigging.
Test the complete rig nearby to see how it sits at rest and responds to movement. Change float size or adjust the rig if the bait does not sit as intended. Do not assume one attachment will suspend every combination of bait, hook, and weight.
On a shaky head or Ned rig, let the weight settle and use short shakes and pauses to work the bait while the float helps lift it. On a drop shot, position the hook and weight for your target depth, then use small rod movements without constantly pulling the rig forward.
Care and Storage
Check the connection after fish, snags, and repeated casts. Remove and reposition the attachment if the surrounding plastic tears or no longer holds securely. Remove it carefully when changing baits, let it dry before storage, and keep small tackle contained when not in use.
