The Next Game Changer Popper by Flymen Fishing Company combines the fully articulated, multi-segment minnow body of the Game Changer with the Surface Seducer Howitzer Baitfish Head to produce a topwater fly that no conventional popper design achieves: a popper with a live, constantly moving baitfish body hanging below the surface throughout every pop, pause, and retrieve. Where standard foam and deer-hair poppers present a static or near-static body profile on the pause, the Next Game Changer Popper’s articulated minnow body and tail hang at approximately 45 degrees below the Howitzer head between strips, undulating and swimming in the current and surface disturbance created by each pop.
