The G-Ratt Baits Dixie Flip is a purpose-built flipping and punching craw designed to slide through the heaviest cover with ease. Once it hits bottom, the craw appendages stand straight up to realistically imitate a defensive crawdad — one of the most triggering postures for big bass. Works across a wide range of rigs including flipping and punching weights, stand-up heads, ned heads, and as a jig or vibrating jig trailer. Available in 3" and 4" (8-packs) in 8 colors.

How to Fish It

Flipping & Punching — rig on a heavy tungsten weight (1oz+ for mats) with a stout flipping hook; pitch or punch into laydowns, brush piles, and matted grass; the Dixie Flip slides in clean and stands up on contact with the bottom
Ned Rig — thread a 3" onto a ned/mushroom head; the claws rise naturally off the bottom for a subtle, finesse craw presentation on hard bottom and rocky structure
Stand-Up Head — use a stand-up jig head to keep the bait elevated and the claws waving; effective on flats and transition areas where crawfish are active
Jig Trailer — chunk it onto a football or flipping jig for added bulk and craw action; the 3" works well on lighter jigs, the 4" for heavier pitching jigs
Vibrating Jig Trailer — adds a craw profile and clipping action to your vibrating jig; effective through grass and over laydowns
