How to Fish It
Normal to Fast Retrieve — Wind & Dirty Water — increase retrieve speed on windy days and in stained water; the Action Lip creates bigger wakes and more spray that fish can track when visibility is reduced; the prop noise adds an audible call-in signal
Slow Crawl — Calm, Clear Water — slow down to a near-stop on calm, clear days; the Spitfire crawls with a subtle snakelike wake that draws up wary fish that won’t respond to a splashing, aggressive retrieve
Weed Flats — retrieve over shallow weed beds where bass and pike ambush baitfish near the surface; the topwater action covers water fast and draws explosive reaction strikes
