Hendrix Java Ribbon Tail Worm 10-Inch 6-Pack

A Long Ribbon Tail for Swimming Presentations

The Hendrix Fishing Company Java Worm is a 10-inch soft-plastic worm with a ribbon tail that swims as the bait moves through the water. Fish it on a Texas or Carolina rig, or work it weightless when you want a slower presentation.

Its long profile gives you another option for pitching and flipping around cover. Small twitches and shakes during the fall let you vary the presentation before the worm reaches bottom. Each pack contains six worms custom made in the USA.

How to Fish It

For a Texas rig, thread the worm straight onto a suitably sized hook and protect the point when working cover. Choose a weight for the depth and conditions, pitch beside your target, and watch the line as the worm falls. Work it with short lifts and pauses, keeping the ribbon tail free of the hook.

On a Carolina rig, use slow sweeps with pauses to move the worm behind the weight. For a weightless presentation, allow extra time for the fall and use occasional gentle twitches rather than constant movement. Match hooks and weights carefully when trying a Neko or drop-shot setup with this 10-inch bait. Take up slack when you detect a pickup and set the hook according to the rig you're using.
