How to Fish It
Run at 12–15 knots as your baseline wahoo speed — if bites stall, bump up 2 knots. The Cruiser stays down and tracks true at any speed you throw at it. Deploy in the flat line or long rigger for maximum depth and distance from the boat. Purple-Hologram and Pink Mackerel are top producers in blue water; Red/Black and Black-Orange excel in low-light or overcast conditions. Wire leader or heavy-duty fluorocarbon (130lb+) is recommended to survive wahoo’s sharp teeth.
