How to Fish It

Use light tackle with a lure rating that includes 7g. Rig the jig with compatible hooks and connections, then lower it under control in shallow water.

Start with small lifts and brief pauses followed by controlled falls. Watch for sudden slack, stops, or changes in line direction during descent. Keep movements measured for a subtle presentation.

Near bottom structure, lift clear before the next fall to reduce snagging. For suspended fish, work the depth band where fish are holding. Reposition or choose a heavier jig if stronger current or deeper water makes line control difficult. Inspect hooks and connections before use, then rinse and dry saltwater-exposed tackle before storage.
