How to Fish It
Use a compatible slow pitch setup rated for the selected weight and rig the jig with suitable hooks and connections. Lower it under control to your intended depth.
Begin with short lifts and measured reel turns followed by controlled falls. Vary lift height and pauses to suit the jig's response. Watch for sudden slack, stops, or changes in line direction during descent.
Adjust weight or boat position to maintain a manageable line angle as current and drift change. Near bottom structure, lift clear before the next fall to reduce snagging. For suspended fish, work the depth band where fish are holding rather than returning to bottom each time.
Inspect hooks and connections before each session, then rinse and dry saltwater-exposed tackle before storage.
