Kraken Jigz Head Hunter Chrome Slow Pitch Micro Jig

Head Hunter Chrome Slow Pitch Micro Jig

The Kraken Jigz Head Hunter Chrome pairs a balanced, hydrodynamic profile with a fluttering descent and wounded-baitfish-style movement. Choose from 25g, 40g, 60g, or 80g weights for bottom and mid-water slow pitch presentations.

Corrosion-resistant hooks and a chip-resistant paint finish complement this jig's reef and offshore applications. Select a weight that lets you maintain control as depth, current, and your drift change.

How to Fish It

Choose a weight within your rod's jig rating that provides control at your fishing depth and current. Inspect hooks and connections before lowering the jig under control.

Start with short lifts and measured reel turns followed by controlled falls. Vary lift height and pauses to work the fluttering action, watching for sudden slack, stops, or changes in line direction during descent.

Near reef or bottom structure, lift clear before the next fall to reduce snagging. For suspended fish, work the depth band where fish are holding rather than returning to bottom each time. Reposition or select a more suitable weight if current creates excessive line angle.

Rinse saltwater-exposed tackle, dry it before storage, and inspect hooks and the finish for wear.
