Kraken Jigz Mayhem Orange UV Slow Pitch Jig | 150g & 250g

Double-Notched Flutter Action in Orange UV

The Kraken Jigz Mayhem Orange UV Slow Pitch Jig features a double-notch design that creates supplier-described erratic movement and an irregular, high-flutter fall. Its action is intended to mimic a wounded baitfish during slow pitch and vertical jigging presentations.

Choose 150g or 250g to match your rod's jig rating, depth, current, and line angle. This listing features a supplier-described UV-reactive coating and is recommended for moderate to light current conditions. UV reactivity does not establish a guaranteed attraction distance or visibility at every depth.

How to Fish It

Slow pitch and vertical jigging: Use a compatible setup rated for your selected weight. Confirm hook rigging and suitable connections, then lower the jig under control. Start with short lifts and measured reel turns, allowing room for the jig to flutter between lifts while maintaining line awareness.

Bottom fishing: Lift clear of structure before allowing the next fall to reduce snagging. Watch for sudden slack, stops, or changes in line movement during the descent. Adjust weight or reposition when current creates an excessive line angle.

Suspended fish: Work the relevant depth band rather than dropping to bottom every time. Vary lift height, pause length, and cadence to suit conditions. Inspect hooks and connections before each session.
