How to Fish It

Slow jigging: Use a compatible setup rated for the selected weight. Start with short lifts and measured reel turns, then give the jig room to move on the fall while maintaining line awareness.

Rapid jigging: Try a quicker lift-and-retrieve cadence with controlled pauses. Adjust speed to your tackle and conditions, watching for sudden stops or changes in line movement as the jig descends.

Vertical presentations: Lower the jig under control to the intended depth. Adjust weight or reposition to maintain a manageable line angle. Near structure, lift clear before the next fall to reduce snagging. Confirm suitable hook rigging and inspect connections before fishing.
