How to Fish It

Use a compatible jigging setup rated for 500g and rig the jig with suitable hooks and connections. Lower this heavy jig under control to your intended depth.

For slow pitch presentations, start with short lifts and measured reel turns followed by controlled falls. Vary lift height and pauses to work its darting action. Watch for sudden slack, stops, or changes in line direction during descent.

For a faster presentation, increase retrieve speed within the limits of your tackle and conditions. Near structure, lift clear before the next fall to reduce snagging. For suspended fish, work the depth band where fish are holding. Reposition or select a different weight if current creates excessive line angle.

Inspect hooks and connections before each session, then rinse and dry saltwater-exposed tackle before storage.
