How to Use It
Choose a ring that fits your lure eye and hook connection without binding. Use suitable split-ring pliers to open the ring only as far as needed, then thread the component fully around the coils.
Check that the ring returns to its closed shape and that connected components move freely. Follow the jig or hook maker's rigging recommendations; split rings and solid rings are not interchangeable in every assist-hook setup.
Match every connection to your tackle. The strength label applies to the ring, not the entire assembled rig. Inspect for spreading, deformation, wear, or corrosion before fishing, and replace damaged rings. Rinse and dry saltwater-exposed tackle before storage.
