Tight Crankbait Action for Tough Conditions

The Livingston Lures FlatMaster is a flat-sided crankbait developed by Team Livingston pros for a tighter-action presentation in challenging fishing conditions. Its floating design has a supplier-listed running depth of 8–10 feet and is designed to move through grass and deflect off cover.

EBS MultiTouch lets you select EBS Shad, EBS Craw, or EBS Original sound. When a broad-wobbling crankbait isn't getting the response you want, try the FlatMaster's tighter action and compare sound settings over the same stretch of water.

How to Fish It

Cast beyond your target and use a steady retrieve to bring the lure into its listed 8–10-foot running zone. Work grass edges and cover, varying retrieve speed to explore the tighter action. When you contact cover, ease the retrieve or pause to let the floating lure rise before continuing.

Follow the manufacturer's EBS MultiTouch instructions to change sound settings. Compare Shad, Craw, and Original on similar casts, and clear vegetation from the hooks when it interferes with the lure's movement. Actual running depth depends on your line, cast, and retrieve.
