Sizes and Pack Quantities

• 10/0: 2-pack or 100-pack.
• 14/0: 2-pack, 25-pack, or 100-pack.

How to Fish It

Select a hook size that leaves the point and gap clear once the bait is attached. For live bait, position the hook so the bait can move without folding across the gap. For chunks, avoid loading on so much bait that the point becomes buried.

Use a rig and sinker suited to the depth and current when bottom fishing, or present live bait and chunks at the level you want to cover. When a fish takes the bait, let the line tighten and build steady pressure by reeling instead of making a sharp hookset. Inspect the hook and leader before use and after fish or snags, and rinse and dry the hooks after saltwater use.
