No1 Casting Cannon Bionic Finger Casting Assist

The No1 Casting Cannon is a mechanical line-holding device that mounts to your surf rod to protect your casting finger from braided line cuts and help generate more distance on heavy surfcasting applications. Instead of holding the line against your finger under load, the Casting Cannon's trigger mechanism holds the line for you — you loop the line onto the trigger, lock it, open the bail, and release at the peak of your cast. Can be mounted temporarily with electrical or hockey tape, or permanently with thread wrapping and epoxy.

How to Use

• Mount the device — Attach near the reel seat using tape, cable ties, or thread and epoxy. Position for comfort.
• Load the line — Open the bail, pull off line, loop it onto the trigger, and close the trigger to hold it.
• Cast — Perform your normal cast and release the trigger at the peak to let the line fly. Set your drag knob tight to prevent line slippage on power casts.
