No1 EVA Foam Rod Butt Cushion

The No1 EVA Foam Rod Butt Cushion slips over the butt end of your rod to cushion the gimbal point against your body while fighting fish. Metal and plastic gimbals can dig in painfully during a long fight — this soft EVA foam sleeve takes the pressure off so you can focus on the fish. The rounded buoyant base also adds flotation, making it useful for keeping rods or landing nets afloat if they go overboard. Available in Green, Yellow, and Blue.

Uses

• Fighting comfort — Slip over the rod butt and seat it against a fighting belt or rod holder. Cushions the gimbal point during medium game saltwater battles.
• Rod flotation — The buoyant EVA base helps keep a rod or net handle afloat if dropped overboard.
