"Perch" WakeWalker LT

The WakeWalker LT is the ABS hard bait evolution of Throwback Baits' flagship resin WakeWalker — two years in the making. The result is a bait that swims perfectly out of the box, wakes high and aggressive on the surface, and cranks down 2 feet on a burn. The 3-piece jointed ABS body is built for durability, while the oversized TB tail in strong, stretchy TPE plastic kicks with every twitch and turn. The "Perch" colorway features a gold and black barred body with a striking orange tail — a dead ringer for a fleeing perch.

Disclaimer: Avoid storing this bait with other soft plastic lures — the tail may react with soft plastics.

How to Fish It

• Wake retrieve — Cast and retrieve at a slow-to-medium pace to keep the bait riding high on the surface, pushing a big wake. Deadly for striped bass, largemouth, and pike hunting in low-light conditions.
• Burn and dive — Speed up the retrieve and the WakeWalker LT cranks down 2 feet, turning it into a shallow diving crankbait with big-bait action. Use to cover water fast or trigger reaction strikes.
• Twitch and pause — Work with intermittent rod twitches to kick the tail and vary the action. Pauses let the bait float back to the surface and trigger following fish to commit.
