Side Piece Bladed Jig
The Pulse Fish Lures Side Piece uses a wire frame to separate the blade from the jig head rather than connecting them in a traditional blade-to-head arrangement. The result is a hunting, shimmying presentation with vibration and flash for working open water and cover edges.
A custom skirt adds profile, while the head is designed to resist rolling during the retrieve. The frame helps shield the 3/0 Mustad hook, and an integrated bait keeper helps hold a soft-plastic trailer in position. The design offers added snag resistance, but it is not snag-proof.

How to Fish It
Choose a rod rated for the total weight of the jig and trailer. If adding a soft-plastic trailer, select one that fits the hook and thread it on straight so it does not twist the presentation. Make a short test retrieve to check blade movement and tracking.
Start with a steady retrieve along cover edges or across open water. Adjust speed and rod position to control depth, and try a brief pause or speed change before returning to a steady swim. Stained water and wind are useful conditions for experimenting with the bait's vibration and flash.
Use the lighter option when you want less weight in the presentation and the heavier options when your setup calls for more. Keep an open retrieve path around cover, and check for fouled skirt strands, debris, or a shifted trailer if the bait stops running cleanly.
Care
Inspect the frame, blade connection, hook point, and knot before fishing and after contact with cover. Rinse as needed after use and dry thoroughly before storage. Replace a torn trailer and keep the skirt free of tangles.
