The Royal Hooks ROYAL Offset HD Worm Hook is the heavy-duty version of the standard offset worm hook — built with heavier gauge wire, a slightly wider gap, and a larger barb for fishing thicker cover and bigger fish where a standard worm hook risks bending out under the torque of a hard hookset or a powerful run. The chemically sharpened point drives through soft plastic and into the fish’s jaw on the initial hookset without the resistance that comes from a dull or mechanically sharpened hook. 6 hooks per pack across all sizes: 1/0 through 5/0.

HD vs. Standard Offset Worm Hook — When to Choose HD

• Heavy Cover — when flipping or pitching into laydowns, dock posts, thick grass, and wood where a hard hookset is required and the fish has to be stopped immediately; the heavier gauge wire doesn’t flex on the hookset the way a standard wire does, meaning more force transfers directly to the point; the larger barb holds the hook in the fish’s jaw through violent headshakes and cover-busting runs where a lighter hook would pull
