The SeaDek 36" Fish Ruler is a permanent, attractive alternative to vinyl stickers, tape measures, and stick-on rulers that fade, peel, and lose accuracy over time. Built from SeaDek’s closed-cell PE/EVA foam in a 3mm brushed texture, the ruler installs in minutes with 3M pressure-sensitive peel-and-stick adhesive — bond it to your boat gunwale, livewell lid, cooler top, or any flat deck surface and it stays put through UV exposure, saltwater, and repeated washing. Laser-etched numbers are cut into the foam surface and cannot fade, wash off, or break down the way printed or painted measurement markings do. The non-skid brushed foam surface grips slippery fish in place during measurement — a practical advantage over smooth rulers and tape measures where a wet fish slides off before you can read the mark. Installation

Clean the installation surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Peel the 3M backing and press the ruler firmly onto the surface for 30–60 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before exposing to water for maximum bond strength.
