The Stack Tackle Skirted Screwy Head Jigs are a complete jig kit that lets you change weight, color, and hook size on the water without cutting your line or re-tying. Each pack includes five head sizes (0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, and 1.5 oz) plus three 2X-strong Mustad hooks, covering the full range of depths and current conditions in a single purchase. The silicone skirts add flash and lifelike movement to the presentation, mimicking fleeing baitfish and triggering reaction strikes from species that key on visual cues — particularly flounder, striped bass, weakfish, and snook. Swap System — Change Without Re-Tying

The patent-pending Screwy Head design allows you to change jig head weight, color, and hook size without cutting your line. Go from 0.5 oz to 1.5 oz when the current picks up. Switch colors when the water changes. Every adjustment that normally costs a minute of re-rigging time is now a 10-second swap.

How to Fish It

• Rigging — thread your soft plastic onto the Mustad hook using the screw-lock collar; then screw the chosen head weight onto the hook in front of the line tie until the O-ring seats and locks; to change weight mid-session, unscrew the head, swap sizes, and re-lock in under 10 seconds without retying the leader; the skirt sits behind the jig head and adds bulk and flash to the front of the profile, so position your soft plastic to leave the skirt visible and flowing around the bait’s midsection
• Slow Hop — Flounder, Fluke — use 0.75–1 oz over sand and mud bottom; cast uptide, let the head sink to the bottom, then lift the rod from 9 to 11 o’clock to hop the bait 12–18 inches off the bottom, and lower back down on a controlled drop; the skirt pulses and flares on the lift and collapses on the fall, creating a fleeing-then-settling baitfish action; flounder strike hard on the drop — set the hook immediately when you feel the thump or dead weight at the end of the drop; pair with a 5" Tail Clapper or 5–6" Gulp for maximum presentation

• Swim & Burn — Striped Bass, Bluefish — use 1–1.5 oz through inlets, along rips, and over back-bay structure; cast uptide or upcurrent and retrieve at medium-to-fast speed; the skirt adds visible bulk and flash at higher retrieve speeds that draws reaction strikes from bass keyed on bunker and larger baitfish; vary retrieve speed and add occasional rips to trigger following fish; the skirt creates a larger visual profile than a bare jig head, making the setup more effective in low-visibility and current conditions
