Javelin takes the ribbed armor profile of the Samurai and puts it in the mid-weight range — 100g and 200g for the depths and conditions between the micro inshore jigs and the extreme-weight Samurai offshore tier. Same glow-in-the-dark riffles, same ribbed body that generates an erratic twirl and flutter on the fall, same asymmetrical shape that sweeps through the water column with a fluid, unpredictable action. The Javelin covers mid-depth reef, nearshore structure, and open-water pelagic applications where 100g–200g gets down fast enough and holds vertical in moderate current. How to Fish It

• Slow Pitch Vertical — drop to structure or the bottom and work a slow, rhythmic rod lift with a controlled fall; the ribbed body generates its twirling flutter on every drop; most strikes come on the fall — stay in contact
• Open-Water Pelagic — drop to the target depth in the water column and work aggressive rod sweeps on the way up; the Javelin’s erratic swim and glowing riffles are effective on tuna and bonito chasing a jig on the retrieve
• Weight Selection — 100g for nearshore structure and moderate offshore conditions (up to ~150 ft in moderate current); 200g for deeper drops, stronger current, and mid-depth open-water applications where the 100g loses vertical control
