A Flat-Bottom Jig for Controlled Finesse Presentations
The Macula Tackle Switchback Series uses a flat-bottom design intended to help the jig sit upright during pauses. Pair that shape with subtle rod-tip movements to work a small area without constantly pulling your bait away from it.
The Easy Tie Eyelet lets you adjust knot position to change between horizontal and vertical presentations. Choose from three standard sizes and a heavier XL option, with two jigs in each pack.

How to Fish It
Match your bait to the selected hook size, leaving the point clear. Tie to the Easy Tie Eyelet and check the rig's hanging angle beside the boat or bank. Reposition the knot to experiment with horizontal or vertical orientation, and recheck it after a fish or snag.
Let the jig reach your target depth, then alternate small lifts or shakes with pauses. When fishing bottom, test how the flat head rests on the surface you're covering; rocks, vegetation, and soft sediment can change its posture. Use lighter weights when a slow, subtle presentation fits the conditions and heavier options when depth or current calls for more control.
If using sonar to follow the jig, keep it within the transducer's coverage and adjust settings for the conditions. Visibility varies with depth, equipment, and positioning. Watch your line during pauses and reel into contact before a controlled hookset.
