Hendrix The Polyp Urchin-Style Soft Bait 20 mm 2-Pack

A Compact Urchin-Style Finesse Bait

The Hendrix Fishing Company Polyp offers an urchin-style profile in a compact 20 mm soft bait. Made from a soft TPE blend and infused with garlic scent, it gives you a different shape to try when downsizing a bass or trout presentation.

Work it slowly around areas where fish are feeding near the bottom, using pauses to keep the bait close to your target. Each pack contains two Polyps.

How to Fish It

Start with a small hook or finesse jig head that fits the compact body without crowding the profile. Secure the bait carefully, leave the hook point clear, and check the rig beside the boat or bank before casting.

Let the bait reach your target depth, then use gentle shakes, short lifts, and pauses rather than hard snaps. Around bottom-feeding fish, try moving it only a short distance between pauses. Adjust weight to depth and current, watch for subtle line movement, and reel into contact before setting the hook according to your setup.
