Tide Rite DFJ-MRMT Mackerel 4-Drop Rig | Metallic Mylar

Four Mylar-Dressed Hooks for Mackerel Presentations

The Tide Rite DFJ-MRMT Mackerel 4-Drop Mylar Rig is hand tied with four long-shank Mustad hooks. The hooks are dressed with gold and silver metallic Mylar, adding reflective flash as the rig moves through the water.

Its four-drop layout gives you multiple dressed-hook presentations on one rig. Match the completed setup to your tackle and the depth where you are fishing.

Key Features

• Four-drop mackerel rig.
• Hand tied with Mustad hooks.
• Four long-shank hooks.
• Gold and silver metallic Mylar dressings.

How to Fish It

Connect the rig using its intended attachment points and fit a compatible weight if your setup calls for one. Choose weight for depth, current, and tackle rating; weight inclusion is not specified in the supplied description.

Lower the rig under control to reduce tangles, then begin with short lifts and controlled falls. Adjust depth and cadence to the fish you locate instead of assuming the rig must be worked on the bottom. Maintain line contact and keep the four hooks clear of snag-prone cover.

Handle the multiple-hook rig carefully when landing fish and storing tackle. Inspect hooks, knots, and dressings between presentations, and rinse and dry the rig after saltwater use.
