The Tide Rite R255GY Kingfish Hi-Lo Pill Float Rig is the green/yellow float version of the classic R255 kingfish rig. Hand-tied with Mustad hooks, this two-hook hi-lo rig is built for targeting kingfish (northern kingfish), spot, and other small surf and pier species. Each dropper loop carries a Mustad hook with a brightly colored pill float (green and yellow) and bead that keeps bait elevated and visible off the bottom. A barrel swivel at the top connects to your main line, and a loop at the bottom attaches your sinker. 1 per pack.

How to Fish It

• Surf and pier fishing — Tie your main line to the top swivel, clip or tie a sinker to the bottom loop, and bait both hooks with cut bloodworm, sandworm, or Fishbites. Cast into the surf or drop from a pier. The pill floats lift the hooks off the sand, keeping bait in the strike zone for kingfish and spot.
