The Tide Rite RSL Mono Surf Leader comes rigged with a swivel and duo-lock snap, providing connection points for your surf-fishing setup. Each pack contains two leaders.

How to Use It

Connect the swivel end to your main line or leader using a suitable knot. Attach compatible terminal tackle to the duo-lock snap and check that it closes fully before casting. Match the leader and hardware to your intended rig and fishing conditions.

Before each session, inspect the mono for nicks, abrasion, or kinks and check both connections. Recheck after contact with sand, shell, rock, or fish, and replace a leader if the line or hardware is damaged.

Care

Rinse salt residue from used leaders with fresh water and let them dry before storage. Store away from direct sunlight and heat, keeping snaps and swivels separated from exposed hook points.
