The Creek Life Lure Co. Ditch Dabbler is a slim, single-sided magnetic tackle tray for keeping small hooks, flies, jig heads, and other terminal tackle separated on a creek trip. Its 5.5 × 3.8-inch footprint makes it easy to organize a compact kit without carrying a full-size tackle box.
Open the tray beside a pool, pick out a hook or tiny spoon, and close it before moving to the next stretch. Choose eight larger pockets or twelve smaller pockets to suit the tackle you carry.

Loading Your Tray
Use the pockets for suitably sized hooks, small flies, micro jig heads, snaps, split rings, and tiny spoons. Check each item's full dimensions, including hooks, and leave enough clearance for the lid to close without pressing on tackle or the seal.
Magnetic retention depends on the metal. Iron and many steels respond to magnets, while tungsten and other non-ferrous or low-magnetic materials may not hold securely. Some assembled items may attach by their steel hooks rather than their weight or body. Test each item before relying on the magnet, and close the tray before carrying it.
Carry and Care
Check the tray against the available space in your sling bag, chest pack, pocket pack, or day bag. Keep the rubber seal clean and free of line, grit, and hook points so it can seat properly. Avoid treating the seal as a guarantee against prolonged submersion.
Dry tackle before closing the tray for storage, and open it to air out after a wet trip. Keep sharp points contained and inspect the seal and closure regularly.
